I'm hoping that today will turn out a lot better than tomorrow. We're getting some money today which should be enough to get our new place and a bed and just enough to get utilities started and food. Jeanne's got an interview in a little and I just set an appointment for Friday for my free consultation for my bankruptcy.
I was kind of not paying attention to the news last night and they had a report about Suge Knight getting shot in the leg the other night. I didn't turn it up in time, but I think that the reporter said something like he shot himself in his leg with his own gun.
The also had reporters in New Orleans trying to report the storm during the storm being in the storm. Their being blown to the ground and all. I don't know what the fuck that's all about. "First on the scene!" "Only this station will our reporters, like myself, put my life on the line to show you what a hurricane's like, up close."
On NPR's national report thing they had reporters talking about how some people left town before the storm and that was what they thought was the best thing to do. Others stayed back because of lack of transportation or other things. He also said that some stayed at home and how he hopes that next time people listen to warnings and go into shelters or leave town. That's awesome. I think people died. "I ain't scared of no hurricane."
I think within the next hour the wired money should be in Jeanne's account. That's cool. Now we can eat.
I'm outs. I keep writing stupid shit. Blow by blow sort of stuff.

It's so painful to read this your blog. I never know what to expect. I sit there with anticipation, my face all squinty like I'm waiting for a slap; only, I don't know when or if it's coming. I swear! LA is cursed for you.
I'm glad to hear you are doing well, at least spiritually. I think that since you live so close to your brother and that he is a CPA (is that right?), that you have no excuse but to get some sound financial advice from him. You need a financial plan for the next three years to get rid of your debt. That includes a day to day plan of spending and such. Cut some stuff out, make more than those payments and get rid of the debt. I want to see you happy, but it's always going to bring you down when they take another lump sum out of your account or you get another unhelpful call.
Margaret and I will be in Vegas from September 17th to the 19th. It'd be great if we could meet up there. Check your calendar. "You gotta make some 'phone calls'? You gotta call some 'people'?" Let me know. Check out our blog too: Margaret & Jeff. I have a work one too: Christopher House IT. Peace!
