Just watched the first two episodes of Tommy Lee Goes To College and it was all right. It was funny as hell, but of course Tommy says stupid stuff a lot. Aside from that, the way that it's shot is really dumb, and they have that stupid "Haunted Mansion" narrator.
Probably the shittiest thing about the show is that they only played two seconds of "Shout at the Devil." I know the show is about Tommy and not Motley, but it would've been cool. And it was on a part where the Dean says that he listened to a Motley Crue album the other day just to get a feeling about him or something. They played and showed the two second video clip of "Shout at the Devil" which I think they did to show, in their opinion, a shocking view of Motley. Then they went back to the Dean and he said, "It's an acquired taste."
So we're selling our car and tomorrow our stuff is getting shipped out. We got a flight out of Omaha on the 24th. We're going to be living in a motel for a while, which is dice. I like motels and we get free cable and internet (hopefully) and we get to be the poor man's Dylan McKay.
This is going to be a busy week. I already had to cancel going to the Faint show tonight, which I was just going to see my friends' band the Marriannes play, because we're having dinner with our friends.
In case there's an agent following me around, here's some help. Tomorrow night we're having dinner with Olivia. Thursday I don't remember, but Jeanne has acupuncture and I think there's something else. Friday is hanging out with Robert and some folks. Saturday we're having dinner with the inlaws. Sunday is brunch and stuff, then we're going to DJ's Dugout to watch SummerSlam. Monday night is party night, I think, and then I don't know what else.
Tonight is also the last day I have my bike in Omaha. It sucks, because I wanted to ride the Wabash trail one last time before I leave. Oh, well. I'll let you know more later. Hopefully interesting things.
