Egads!!!

So I'm watching, off and on, the news about the hurricane in New Orleans. What's stupid is that... well, a lot of things. I won't get into it unless you want me to. If you've been watching the newscasts, you should know.

I can't believe that there's a Nissan commercial with CIV's "Can't Wait One Minute More." Are you kidding me?

I checked my Email yesterday and got my sister's new cell number. I decided to call her and she was in LA and had no clue that I was in town also. Her boyfriend and his brother were in a judo tournament today and they were staying at her boyfriend's brother's girlfriend's parents' house.

They live in Norwalk about a mile in the opposite direction of the 605/Firestone off ramp which is where Golf N' Stuff is. If you don't know what that Golf N' Stuff is, it's the one that they went on a date to in Karate Kid. It looks the same sans the waterpark.

Gas is killer, but there's three episodes of Simpsons a day here (hint hint Headley).

I got a suit today and had my first Pina Colada. I'm not one for blended fruit drinks, so I've never had one. But being a hot day and in the spirit of LA, I had one.

What else?

I did laundry today across the street from the illustrious Paradise Motel in Culver City that we're staying at. There was a Bust A Move machine there, so I played it. Since I've kicked that game's ass right out of high school, I decided to give it a go again. I didn't beat it today, but I did, however, get first place. BYO is #1, bitch!

So if all goes well this week with registering our new car and stuff, we'll be spending Labor day weekend in Vegas. I bought the old town car from my boss, so it'll be taken out of my paychecks, but it just needs to be registered and it's in great condition. It's a '97 Ford towncar. My brother's having a BBQ next weekend, so I'm hoping to go there. My sister, Crystal, is the first of my family to meet Jeanne.

Peace out,
